Growing up, there was always music in our home. My mother was involved in many musical projects during that time. She is definitely my first musical inspiration. I also went to a lot of concerts dating back quite a few years – the first of which was a Men at Work show (yep, you heard it, Men at Work), followed by so many great ones since.

I’m also a huge fan of some of the groups that shaped our music today as we know it. Some of my influences include:
Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Cure ,Pearl Jam, Tool, Soundgarden and the list goes on and on…

Singing is something I took up casually when I was young. Somewhere around the time of my senior year in high school I got involved with some local bands here in Phoenix and we played clubs and other small venues. That’s when I realized that I really loved to sing and create music. During this time I was also a competitive tennis player, later on becoming a high performance coach (always staying involved with music) . I realized how much I truly enjoyed helping others through teaching.

I believe that each of us are here for a reason and that we all have a role in this world. I think my role is to have a positive influence on everyone with whom I come in contact. Now I’m ready to spread that positive energy through music. Basically, my musical influences, the philosophies I live by, and the events of my life just converged and led me to the point where I felt that both personally and professionally, the time had come to take my music to the next level.

From that point, I crossed paths with my music co-conspirator Stёv Skye. Stёv is an amazingly talented musician who just so happens to have a top of the line studio (EPS Skye Studios) here in Phoenix. And he even knows how to work all of the high end equipment, which is an art in itself! With his help, I was able to record and produce the songs for this album, 108 Beads, which I truly hope you enjoy!
